Meaning ‘moonlanding’ in Italian, Allunaggio was first designed in 1965 and produced by Zanotta from 1980. The seat was originally designed for lawns, minimizing the shade on the grass. It features a stove-enameled steel frame, aluminum seat & nylon feet. Frame and seat are painted grass green.

Achille Castiglioni’s imaginative forms and simplistic designs have made him one of the most influential figures in Italian design. Founder of the Association for Industrial design in 1956 and recipient of numerous awards including seven Compasso d’Oro awards.
